cosy
the days are getting shorter, the nights are drawing in, and it’s finally getting cooler and greyer - just the kind of weather i like. it’s perfect for hand sewing.
i save my most favourite fabrics for hand piecing. i love spending the time really appreciating and enjoying them. and heather ross’ fabrics are my most favourite of all…

it’s so deliciously soft - wonderful to work with.
i’m snuggling in for a while…

It looks so beautiful and cosy! Can’t wait to see it all pieced. How will you quilt it?

@holly - thank you! it is coming together relatively quickly (for a hand-pieced quilt…). i’m not sure how i will quilt it yet. i should really do it by hand, but by the time i’ve finished piecing i might just want to get it machine quilted so it’s finished!
@sarah - i’ll have a look, thanks!
@penny - i am waiting very impatiently for ffa2. it looks soooo beautiful. everyone seems to be excited about the owl and the pussycat, and they are very cute, but my favourite is sleeping beauty in her bower of lilies of the valley.
