Hi,

I’m a newbie, I was looking for ways to use up some fabric from a cot quilt that my friend made my son 3 years ago. Your bag looked perfect! I didn’t realise how complicated it was till half way thru, but my auntie talked me thru it just a little bit & I read your tutorial a couple more times & finished it on a rainy Sunday!

Thank you for taking the effort to make the instructions so thorough, I really appreciate it!

I can’t belive I’ve done it, and that it looks so fantastic! Very excited!

Your bag is very charming. My great-aunt used to always carry a bag like this, as a purse that she’d made herself; she sewed all her own clothes and crocheted every day (or so it seemed to me). Quite a crafting inspiration! And who knew her ways, which seemed very old-fashioned, would come back into style?
